Looking for an affordable party getaway south of the border?
If Las Vegas is on your travel radar, there’s a good reason.
Sin City ranks the highest among the best party cities in the United States, according to a study by online betting company, The Casino Wizard.
The study assigned a “party score” to U.S. locations based on six criteria: bars per 100,000 people, average hotel price per night, average beer price, activities listed on Tripadvisor, nature spots and parks, and mean temperature.
Las Vegas topped the list, scoring 40.39 out of 60, beating out other cities with its top-notch nightclubs in along the destination’s neon-soaked strip, over-the-top concert residencies and Cirque du Soleil shows.
With the alcohol flowing freely in Las Vegas, the study also noted that the gambling capital of the world also has more than 340 bars listed on Tripadvisor, which is 51 bars for every 100,000 people.
Packed with hotel options, average accommodation prices in Las Vegas are also pretty low, sitting at about $148 per night, according to the study.
