Edmonton weather: Sunny skies and warm weather a positive omen for Friday's playoff game
Article content
A look at Friday’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.
It’s 11 C at the Edmonton Blatchford weather station with 6 km/h winds out of the west southwest.
I was reminded recently that, no matter what the sign says, Edmonton is still the City of Champions. So, who’s ready for Round 2? Well, if you’re planning to go out to the watch party downtown, you probably won’t need to wear too many layers under those jerseys!
Friday’s sky is a little cloudier than Thursday, with a blazing high of 27 C but winds climbing to 40 km/h by noon. Saturday will also be a little cloudy with a high of 21 C, but the winds will have completely died down by then.
Let’s hope this warm weekend is full of victory for the blue and orange!
